Learners's Support Center
Introduction
Learners Support Centre Udhampur is one the arm of Directorate of Distance Education, University of Jammu. Its office is located in College library. The centre started its working in the college from 2001onwards. The objective of establishing this centre is to provide effective academic, administrative and information support services to distance learners at undergraduate level. The students can opt arts stream, commerce during their learning.
Courses Offered:
The centre offers Undergraduate programmes such as BA and B.Com (NCBCS) to cater the needs of diverse learners. The practical subjects covered under these programmes are Geography, Music, Psychology and Statistics. The college supports the distance learners in academic counseling and for that PCP classes are held during that semester/session.

The centre follows multimedia approach to teaching and learning. In order to augment the delivery of the programmes being offered, the latest and updated self learning material is provided to the distance learners by hand and through post. The centre utilizes the college’s adequate infrastructure for Personal Contact Programmes. The students can utilize the library facilities of college. For practical subjects such as Geography, Psychology, Music and Statistics, college provides the laboratory facilities to these students.
