GDC Udhampur Organises An Excursion For The Students

Press Note: Udhampur: May 09, 2023 Catering to the demand of the students of the college, under the supervision of Principal Prof. Dr. Romesh Kumar Gupta, a picnic for the UG and the PG students of the college was organized to Patnitop, a most longed and desired hill station of Udhampur. Commenting on the occasion the Principal was of the view that extracurricular and activities of amusement are part and parcel of the studies that enrich the learning and double the potential of the learner. "After a stressful phase of assignments and papers the excursion was planned for the students to give them respite from the mundane and a healing time by being in nature", he said. Early in the Morning the buses were flagged off from the college campus ground towards the hill station. By noon the buses reached Patnitop after which the students spreaded into the different areas to enjoy nature and amuse their self. Under the unrestricted supervision of the staff they enjoyed to the full and liked the cool and cosy weather of Patnitop. All the staff of the college was present in the excursion that made the journey and the picnic safe, secure and meticulous. The students of the college thanked the Principal and the staff for such a wonderful experience by virtue of the excursion. On the occasion the Principal also announced that very soon the college shall be organizing an educational tour for the students post their university examination.
